6ft. Southwire Disconnect Whip

There is a special set of wires needed to make the connection between your outdoor condenser unit and the 'disconnect' box which runs to your main breaker box. This set of wires is extra thick and rated specifically to carry the larger current and amperage needed by heavier duty equipment. In the industry, this set of wires is refered to as the 'disconnect whip'... disconnect as it connects to the disconnect box, and whip because, well... it's vaugely remniscent of something Indiana Jones might have used in his younger days!

Never use substandard wiring for your AC unit. Not only is it a potential issue that may cause damage to your expensive equipment, under rated wiring can be a hug safety concern.
